Deck Builder, Mid-Willamette Valley — what that involves
Built by the crew that does the fence
Same people, same standards, one point of contact. If the deck and the fence meet, they get planned together rather than negotiated between two trades.
Framing first
A deck is a structure. Footings, beams, joist spacing and ledger attachment are what it stands on — the boards are the part you see.
Priced after measuring
Height off the ground, ground conditions and access change a deck quote more than square footage does.
Licensed and insured
Oregon CCB #257281, general liability carried, and the licence number on every advert because Oregon requires it.
Everything we build
Privacy fences
Cedar dog-ear, board-on-board and shadow box, built to sit level along an uneven line.
Cedar & wood
Decorative tops, cap and trim, and horizontal styles when the look matters as much as the screening.
Chain link
Straightforward, durable containment for pets, yards and side runs.
Gates
Walk gates and double drive gates hung so they still swing true in a year.
Fence repair
Storm damage, leaning posts, rotted boards and sagging gates — repaired rather than replaced where that is the honest answer.
Decks & siding
The same crew handles decking and siding when the exterior needs more than a fence.

Questions we get asked
Do you build decks as well as fences?
Yes. Live Your Future Construction holds a Residential General Contractor endorsement, and decking is on our service list alongside fencing.
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Often yes, depending on height above grade and whether it is attached to the house. Rules vary by city, and we will tell you what your address needs before work starts.
What does a deck cost?
Materials, height, footings and access drive it. As with fencing, we price after looking at the site rather than quoting a square-foot figure that has to be revised.
