Is chain link cheaper than wood?
Usually, for the same length — and it lasts well. It buys containment and visibility rather than privacy, so the right choice depends on what the fence is for.
Can you repair a chain link fence rather than replace it?
Often, yes. Fabric can be re-stretched, rails replaced and posts reset. We will tell you when a repair is genuinely the cheaper answer and when it is throwing money at a run that needs replacing.
Will it keep my dog in?
For most dogs, yes, provided the height suits the dog and the bottom is secured. Diggers and climbers need the bottom detail handled, which is worth saying out loud at the estimate.
